At Metal Creations we specialize in the manufacture of mild steel and stainless steel products which includes, but isn’t limited to gates, fencing, balustrades and staircases and related metal work, all of which can include automation and access control which we do ourselves, rather than outsource. All our work can be fabricated to suit domestic and industrial needs.

Small but very effective community in terms of business and resources. And we love the exceptional combination of mountains and beaches.
How long have you been operating here?
We started the company in 2001 and have been in full operation since 2003.
Describe your business...
This business was created on the basis of years of engineering experience and related family participation, so we are backed by many years of expertise in the field and grounded values – the latter of which has been extended recently to include an unusual husband and wife partnership in the business. Whilst I direct the technical aspects of the business, Tara manages the operational side of things.
How do you see the future of your line of business in Swest?
With all the investment in old and new property and the upcoming developments in and around the area, there will always be a greater need for security, and we hope to capitalize on that, as we have been fortunate enough to do in the past. We have grown from strength to strength each year that our doors have been open, and with all the expansion potential, the future of our business looks sparkling!
In your opinion, where's the "swestiest" place to be right now?
The Helderberg Nature Reserve and Somerset West Golf Club.
